How to apply Nikwax UV Proof
- Always ensure the item has been cleaned first with Nikwax Tech Wash.
- Apply Nikwax UV Proof by spray head application or by sponge or by brush.
- Work in evenly over the outside surface area to make the active ingredients penetrate the fabric.
- Wait for 5 minutes and remove any surplus product with a damp cloth.
- Drip-dry and check to ensure no surplus runs.
Volume guide
- For tents use: 300 ml for 2 person, 500 ml for 3-4 person 1 litre for family camping 5 litre for group use
When to use Nikwax UV Proof
Always apply this product to new or used tents and equipment to keep items in perfect colour and water-repellent condition. Remember to clean gear first with Nikwax Tech Wash before applying Nikwax UV Proof (you don’t have to wait for items to dry between cleaning and proofing).
